Jamison R. Davis
Jim founded Davis & Partners in 2004 and has led the company through fourteen years of profitable growth and is recognized internationally as an internet marketing pioneer. Jim is among the creative leaders credited with developing the first consumer website and banner ad as well as a long list of innovations that helped spur the advent of digital advertising. Jim has spent the second half his career advising global brands on how to leverage technology to build customer-designed marketing-led organizations.
Jim founded D&P, originally named Life Ventures, after a highly successful 25-year career in communications. Life Ventures began as a small boutique advisory firm serving clients such as The Walt Disney Company, ESPN, Philips, Sephora, and PepsiCo. Jim and Life co-founder Tom Zawacki’s expertise grew out of the previous nine years the two spent helping build ModemMedia and was instrumental in Modem’s successful IPO in 1999, one of the most anticipated IPOs of that year with a peak market cap of over $1 billion. In 2007, Life Ventures spun off the social commerce software company Lemonade, and its consumer website, Lemondade.com was voted the #1 website of 2007 by Time Magazine as well as being featured on NBC’s Today Show. Later that year Life Ventures changed its name to Davis & Partners in 2007.
Jim is a founder and equity partner in State Street Partners, a consulting firm specializing in public sector communications policy and strategy, economic development, and tourism. He is also a co-founder of Rugby Utah Ventures and is co-owner of The Utah Warriors, a professional rugby franchise of Major League Rugby, the United States’ only nationally televised rugby league.
Jim sits on the boards of Stronger International, State Street Partners and Rugby Utah Ventures. He and his wife Christie reside in Connecticut and Utah and Jim enjoys spending time with his family, as well as running, tennis, cooking, travel and songwriting. He is a long time member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
Nikos Acuña is a partner and global AI practice lead at Davis & Partners and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of our Lyrical business unit. In these roles, Nikos serves as D&P’s lead AI strategist, leading client engagements at the intersection of data, technology and customer experiences while helping agencies and their clients develop innovative strategies to impact their business. He brings to D&P over 20 years of experience in product development, R&D, and operations management. Regarded as a luminary in artificial intelligence, interconnected mobility, transportation, and IoT, he also pioneered AI-powered data activation solutions for 8 of the largest 10 global banks, and implemented digital transformation solutions for financial services, private wealth, and asset management companies. Nikos is the author of over a dozen research papers on AI and digital transformation.
Nikos is also a Partner at Van Wagoner Ventures. He is the author of The Predictive Business and Mindshare (Motion Publishing, 2012), which received Foreword Magazine’s Book of the Year Award, the USA Best Book Award in 2012, and a Publisher recommendation for the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award. He published over a dozen foundational research studies on AI and cross-industry digital transformation over the past two years and speaks frequently at conferences around the world about creativity and innovation, AI’s implications in a connected future, and how to deepen engagement by tapping into intrinsic human desires. Additionally, he is launching a bi-weekly video series called Symbiosis. In the spirit of Jason Silva’s Shots of Awe, Symbiosis explores innovation at the intersection of data, technology, and experiences through a portrait of a postmodern futurist. The first episode launched on February 27, 2018.
Lars is a founding partner and manages the firm’s western region. He brings to the firm over 35 years of award-winning experience in global marketing, strategy and design. Lars has become an expert in marketing, concept/strategy development and management proven by award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s most recognized brands and innovative newcomers.
Lars has been a key leader at top international advertising agencies including J. Walter Thompson, McCann Erickson, Foote Cone & Belding, Grey Advertising and was the founder and manager of a 40-person multi-million dollar agency in San Francisco. One of his specialties is successfully taking ideas from concept to completion leading high-level creative teams through product launches and image making, proven by needle-moving, ground-breaking positioning, and award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s most recognized brands including Oracle, PwC, Levis, AT&T, Visa International, Major League Soccer.
Graham is the firm’s lead strategist and the global practice lead of the consulting side of the business. He has spent his entire academic and professional career furthering his mastery of the “minds of the masses.” While still earning his degree in psychology, Graham began his career as an eager strategy intern at Mad Dogs & Englishmen and has spent the past 24 years honing and expanding his craft in every corner of the

For more than 23 years, Burke has worked on developing and applying cutting edge artificial intelligence and data science solutions to solve real world problems. He led the creation of advanced business analytics programs to help executives and senior management of SMB’s and Fortune 100 companies alike to drive growth, transformation and innovation both domestically and internationally.
He has led change and impact at many companies, including JetBlue Airways, IBM, PayPal, Nationwide, Macy’s, JPMorgan-Chase, DirectTV, Microsoft, Nike, and Walmart. He is focused on improving operational efficiency, innovation, and creating truly superior customer and employee experiences, resulting in improved profits and long term sustainability of that growth.
